BURDINA / IRON

An intimate work, while universal

It is a poetic and emotional work that oscillates between the present and the past, the now and the memory, the here and the there. We talk about life, death, the need to leave home, integration, love, the role of women, loss, pain, and overcoming adversity; all this in a specific context: the Basque mining-industrial sector.

ÉCLAT

Detached fragment of a body that explodes

A particular journey that reveals certain iconic elements of women's fashion from the end of the 19th century and throughout the 20th century. Moments of oppression, struggle, liberation, carefreeness and pragmatism are reflected in the work, raising the importance of fashion in the construction of personalities and in social relations.
